Knocklofty Resource Centre held their Open Day on August 2, 2023, at their resource centre. It was a great success with families, friends and local businesses showing their support on the day. It was a fun filled day for everyone with music, refreshments, a kiddie’s corner and food for all ages.
The service users got to proudly showcase their fruit and vegetables that they grew throughout the year on the farm in Knocklofty.
These were on sale along with various other homemade produce such as jams and lots of baked goods. There was a raffle held with many great prizes on offer which were kindly sponsored by many local businesses in the Clonmel area.
Well done to all the winners!
Knocklofty Resource Centre recently won the national ‘Day Service of the Year’ at the Irish Healthcare Awards Presentation in May this year. This was a great achievement for all service users and staff in the centre.
A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who came on the day and to all the businesses for their continued support. It is very much appreciated.
