County Roads 10 Mile
The final county roads race of 2018 took place last Sunday in Moyglass Co Tipperary. The hardest was left to last namely the county roads 10 mile. We had five men and 1 lady endure the testing 10 mile course. With the pace set from the start everyone knew it was going to be challenging. With much of mile 5 to 9 mostly uphill this brought us to our rapid 1 mile downhill finish. Our only lady Sarah Fitzpatrick was 3rd lady over all while in the men's Willie O'Donoghue took gold in the M/55 and Tom Blackburn took silver in the M/50 category. Giving it there all was Tom Blackburn, Willie O'Donoghue, Kevin Lenihan, Damien Holian, Ger Hanley and our only lady Sarah Fitzpatrick we can truly say they left nothing out there.
