Waterford celebrity chef Paul Flynn prepared, cooked and served seven fantastic dishes for second year students at Comeragh College in Carrick-on-Suir recently.
Flynn, who owns the award-winning Tannery Restaurant, Townhouse and Cookery School in Dungarvan, visited the County Tipperary school as part of the Junior Certificate School Programme Celebrity Chef visit initiative, affording students a brilliant opportunity to learn from someone who has worked as a chef for over 30 years. Flynn has written cookery themed articles for the Irish Times and has also produced three cookery books. He has starred in TV programmes such as 'Paul Flynn: Irish Food’ and 'Lords and Ladles’ on RTÉ. “Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are eager to recreate the dishes themselves,” a Comeragh College school spokesperson said.
