Loughmore Castleiney GAA Club will take centre stage this weekend as it hosts a live RTÉ broadcast of Up for the Match on Saturday, July 19th.
The club was selected by RTÉ to feature in the Saturday night programme ahead of the All-Ireland Hurling Final, in recognition of its strong representation on the Tipperary senior panel.
Local heroes Noel, John and Brian McGrath, along with selector Declan Laffan, will be honoured as part of the evening’s celebrations.
The club has a very proud tradition in both Hurling and Football and has completed the county Double of winning the Senior Hurling and Football titles no less than 3 times most recently in 2024. The live broadcast will begin shortly after 9pm.
