Louis Lovett, known to many as befuddled German resident Dieter Langer in the TV show ‘Killinascully’ is coming to Thurles with his own theatre company Theatre Lovett, one of Ireland’s most exciting companies for young and old alike.
Lovett with his wife Muireann Ahern bring a beautiful tale for young and old to The Source Arts Centre. ‘Mr. Foley, The Radio Operator’, is a show for 6 to 60 year olds and beyond, it is a gentle tale of radio waves, sorrowful partings and hilarious slapstick comedy. Spend some time with old Mr. Foley as he forgets to remember and remembers to forget.
Having trodden the boards on 42nd Street New York last year and ahead of this year’s Australian tour which includes the prestigious Sydney Opera House, Theatre Lovett bring their world renowned talents on a 21 stop tour of Ireland.
See ‘Mr. Foley, the Radio Operator’ at the Source Arts Centre, Thurles this Saturday, March 8 at 12pm. €8/26 family of four.
