‘Visual Joys’ exhibition opens in Carrick

Award winning Clonmel photographer John Crowley’s exciting new photographic exhibition “Visual Joys” opens at the Sean Healy Memorial Library in Carrick-on-Suir this Thursday, March 6.

Award winning Clonmel photographer John Crowley’s exciting new photographic exhibition “Visual Joys” opens at the Sean Healy Memorial Library in Carrick-on-Suir this Thursday, March 6.

All patrons of the library are invited to attend the exhibition’s opening at 7pm that day.

Tom Grace, Chairperson of Carrick-on-Suir Camera Club, will officially open the show, which is a collection of Mr Crowley’s recent creative work.

He is the only photographer to win the ESB Environmental Photographer of the Year (professional award) twice in 1998 and 2003 and received Kodak Gold Awards for his work in 1997 and 1998.

In 2005, his work was shown in Peoria, Illinois, USA as part of a cultural exchange between Clonmel and Peoria.
