The Coláiste will play host to the annual “Showtime” of music, drama, song and dance on Wednesday, May 16, beginning at 8pm. The show will feature a wide variety of acts, both solo and groups. The huge depth of artistic talent among the student body will be showcased in what is always a thoroughly enjoyable evening’s entertainment.
Following on from the highly successful run of “Does Your Mother Know” last November, we will get another chance to witness the enormous array of talent under the tutelage of Ms. Deirdre Buckley and Ms. Norma Barry-Hurley.
This night will provide the audience a final chance to enjoy some of the 6th year students who have entertained in the school consistently since they first began. Indeed many of them will be quite emotional at the thoughts of leaving the stage that they have graced over the last five years. Tickets will be available on the door.
Transition year students will have their evening which celebrates their busy year in the school next Tuesday night, May 15. These students have traversed the country over the course of the year and have added a real buzz to everything they have been involved in. They have been to Belfast, Galway, Mayo, Limerick, Waterford, Cork and Dublin this year and this evening allows them the chance to recount their tales and share their experiences from the last nine months with their parents, friends and next year’s incoming group of TY students.
