Outlaws let it rip in Tipp

While many bands have a relatively similar programme, The Outlaws have placed their faith in the ‘real deal’ country music.

While many bands have a relatively similar programme, The Outlaws have placed their faith in the ‘real deal’ country music.

The Castleblaney band brings a hoedown touch to their shows from start to finish and it is fair to say that a night at The Outlaws is truly a different experience.

Bandleader Sean Hughes is not your ordinary dyed-in-the-wool country music singer and enthusiast. Instead, he draws his inspiration from many sources and believes the songwriter is often the unsung hero in so many genres of music.

“Everyone that has ever written a good song - those are the men and women whom I look up to in a special way. I have had a fascination with the writers of songs ever since I can remember. I would always check who wrote a song, even in my teenage years. People like Buddy Holly, Neil Sedaka, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Waits, Sammy Cahn. I have enormous respect for songwriters”, he told The Nationalist.

Dancing fans are promised a fantastic night with The Outlaws at The Times Hotel in Tipp Town this Sunday coming night, March 23.
