Thursday night saw double header with Clonmel Division 3 taking on Cashel New Inn.

This was an eagerly awaited game as both teams were in contention for top of the league. Clonmel fought hard throughout the game with excellent ball work up the middle of the field from Leah Hyland. The defence were under a lot of pressure, but remained strong. It was a very tough skilful game that resulted in a final score of Cashel New Inn 3 – Clonmel 0.

Division 5 also had home advantage over Dungarvan on Thursday night. Rachel Ryan tapped a nice goal home for the only score of the match. Clonmel were all over Dungarvan from the start. Final Score Clonmel 1, Dungarvan 0.

On Friday the division 5 team travelled to Harlequins to take on Cork Wanderers. Final Score Clonmel 0- Wanderers 0.

On Sunday division 5 played COI in Cork in the first round of the combined cup. Clonmel dominated the play in the first half, the second half saw many superb saves from Andrea O’Dea in the back line. Ger Boland managed to drive home a short corner to score Clonmel’s only goal. Unfortunately the long week caught up with Clonmel, final score COI 3, Clonmel 1.
