Clonmel Childcare’s annual Family Fun Day was blessed with fine weather on Sunday afternoon.

Children, their parents and other family members enjoyed a great day out at the Cashel Road creche, which is seven years in business.

“The day is a way of giving something back to the parents”, said creche manager Karen Hawkins.

“People are encouraged to come along and mix with other parents, which is something they mightn’t have a chance to do for the rest of the year because they’re usually rushing in and out of the door”, she stated.

She said that people with children who are due to start at Clonmel Childcare also had the opportunity to meet other parents, while staff also brought family members along. Young and old enjoyed refreshments while the children made full use of the bouncy castle, face painting, toys and various games.

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Gabrielle Egan and Deputy Mattie McGrath were also present.

Clonmel Childcare staff thank all who attended and are grateful to everyone for their ongoing support.
