The Fionn Mac Cumhaill Players are staging ‘The Kings Of Kilburn High Road’ at the end of January and February at different venues around the county.

This wonderful play by Jimmy Murphy tells the story of 6 young men who went to London to seek their fortune in 1975.

It’s now year 2000 and they come together in the back room of a Kilburn club to reminisce after one of the group - Jackie Flavin - has
unfortunately passed
away

How far have they come and have they achieved what they set out to do... or is Jackie now the only one to make it home to Ireland albeit in a coffin.

Some great drama here and wonderful scenes. Very funny but a heart wrenching play - it will be staged in Cloneen Hall Fethard at Clonacody house Kilkenny Club House and Thurles and the Source Theatre.
