A very special evening of Song, Music and Reflection will take place on Wednesday, March 27 (Spy Wednesday) in St .Mary’s Church, Clogheen, at
8 pm sharp
This Easter Candlelit vigil to celebrate the Year of Faith, will see the award winning Vocalist Trudi Lalor, with her special guests, Paddy O’Brien and John Hogan, perform an evening featuring some of the best known and loved gospel songs, including “How Great thou Art”, “Amazing Grace”, “Never Grow Old” and “Will the Circle be Unbroken” , to name just a few.
Musical Director for the evening is Fran Curry from Tipp FM.
Trudi said “I am really looking forward to the evening. This is going to be a very special event and gives people the opportunity to sit and enjoy the beautiful songs and up-lifting words of inspiration in the unique candlelit setting of St. Mary’s Church in Clogheen”.
The Celebrant will be Fr. Pat Butler PP and all proceeds from this very special evening will go to St. Mary’s Church fund.
Fr.Pat has a great connection with the Irish Country Music business for many years and has called upon his good friend Trudi who helped to organise this special evening.
Tickets at only €15 are selling fast from the following outlets - Post Office Clogheen, Creeds Shop in Burncourt, the Post Office in Cashel, Danny Ryans Music Shop in Tipperary Town and John Quirke Jewellers in Cahir. Places are limited so get your ticket in time for what promises to be an evening to remember.
