Mayor Billy Shoer and Clonmel Chamber President Valerie O’Reilly launched the National Enterprise Conference 2013 at the Town Hall in Clonmel last Friday morning.
The conference will be held at the Clonmel Park Hotel on April 19th and will feature speakers from a range of sectors. The theme for the 2013 conference is ‘It’s time to be positive’.
The Mayor, speaking at the launch, complimented the Chamber on such an interesting lineup. “It is excellent to see a conference with speakers of this high calibre being held in our town. The Chamber have a track record of hosting excellent conferences and I am really looking forward to attending to hear the speakers that are booked for the 2013 event” said Mayor Billy Shoer.
Speakers this year include DoneDeal.ie founder Fred Karlsson, Google executive Michael Hodgins, Pharmaceutical Entrepreneur Dr. Sharon O’Kane, Tipperary businesswoman and Image Businesswoman of the Year Margaret O’Connor and The Gathering CEO Jim Miley.
“These speakers come from a range of different companies across many sectors but they all have one thing in common; they have created successful companies in a difficult economic climate and what we are hoping to show at the National Enterprise Conference on April 19th is that there are opportunities and that businesses can thrive at a time like this” said Chamber President Valerie O’Reilly.
Speaking at the launch the Chamber President also thanked County Tipperary Skillnet and Abbott Vascular for their continued sponsorship of this event.
