A lively traditional music session will take place in Clonmel during July and August hosted by the Seisiun Ceolta Feasa at the Park Hotel.

A lively traditional music session will take place in Clonmel during July and August hosted by the Seisiun Ceolta Feasa at the Park Hotel.

This is the 11th year that the group has performed in Clonmel, entertaining locals and tourists alike. Seisiun Ceolta Feasa will perform at the Park Hotel from July 4th to August 15th every Thursday night at 9pm.

As it is the year of The Gathering, the group extends a very special welcome to visitors from overseas. The show comprises a formal stage show and concludes with an informal traditional session, where the audience are encourage to participate if they wish.

The show is produced by Michael Harty and the group is made up of seasoned performers with new artists joining each year. The dancers are from the Kathy McGrath School,Newcastle.The show brings together three branches of Comhaltas - Cathair Dun Iascaigh,Powerstown/Lisronagh and Newcastle. During the run benefit nights will be held for local organisations including the Clonmel Swimming Club, the South Tipperary Carers Association and the Newcastle Community.
