The third instalment of the Clonmel Cine Club’s autumn/winter season takes place on this Thursday night, November 14.
The film is the excellent Danish thriller ‘A Hijacking’.
The cargo ship MV Rozen is heading for harbour when it is hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. The ship’s cook Mikkel (Pilou Asbæk) and the rest of the seamen are taken hostage. With the demand for a ransom of millions of dollars, a psychological drama unfolds between the CEO of the shipping company (Søren Malling) and the Somali pirates.
The venue is the County Museum (check Clonmel Cine Club on Facebook for updates). Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. Places are limited so first come, first seated. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
