U13 SFAI National Cup

Best of luck to Cahir Park U13 team that travel to Dublin next weekend to play St Kevin’s Boys in the last 16 of the National Cup.

This will be a very difficult challenge against the leading schoolboys club in Dublin. However the Cahir team has every chance if they can reproduce the form shown in the last round in Donegal.

U12 Emerging Talent Program

The T.S.S.D.L U12 Squad have trained very well in Clerihan every Sunday, ahead of their U12 Munster Inter League tournament. This Tournament starts this Sunday 3rd March in Limerick. 11 Teams are entered in tournament from the different leagues in Munster. Teams are split into two groups. South Tipperary have been grouped in tough group one alongside Cork, Kerry, Limerick District, North Tipperary and the West Waterford-East Cork League. These games will be played over two weekends 3rd of March and 7th of April. South Tipperary face tough opposition this Sunday when they play Kerry at 10.30am, North Tipperary at 1.30pm and Cork at 4.30pm. And on Sunday 7th April play Limerick District and West Waterford-East Cork.

It is a great opportunity for these kids to represent to their county and to play against high level teams from surrounding counties. As preparation for this tournament the squad have trained ten times and have played three friendly games. The Squad played North Tipperary in Peake Villa Thurles before Christmas scoring seven goals within two very entering games with some attractive and attacking football been played by both teams on the day. The U12 ETP management team where extremely happy with the way the squad had performed on the day playing some excellent football and were encouraged that the squad had reproduced what they have learned from the previous weeks training.

The squad are in good form as present and are training extremely well and will aim to follow last year teams footsteps by topping the group and reaching the final, which would be a great achievement for our small league, But most importantly the on-going development of the squad and the continued football development of each individual player will be the main success story from this tournament.

The U12 South Tipperary ETP squad is as follows:

Enda Dunphy Clonmel Town, Cormac Flynn Vee Rovers, Kyle Shelly St. Kevins, Ian Healy Clonmel Town, Anthony Phelan Clerihan, Riain Kiely Clerihan, David Brannigan Clonmel Town, Callum Meagher Clerihan, Sean O’Connor Clonmel Town, Kieran Crotty Clonmel Celtic, Brian McKeown Clonmel Town, Kieran Costello Peake Villa, Max Hackett St.Kevins, Darren Flood St.Kevins, Eanna Ryan Clonmel Town, Brian O’Sullivan Clerihan, Sam Dwyer Clonmel Town, Kevin Hayes St.Kevins, Rhys O’Regan Clonmel Celtic, Peter Melbourne St.Kevins, Padraig O’Loughlin Clonmel Celtic, William O’Dwyer Bansha Celtic, Daniel Quigley Clonmel Celtic, Ross Gavin Clonmel Town, Sean Fitzpatrick Clonmel Town, Devon Ryan Cashel Town
