Grease is the word at the Colaiste!

At last it’s time to dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip to a simpler time as ‘bad boy’ Danny (Dylan Walsh) and ‘the girl next door’ Sandy (Gemma Duggan) fall in love all over again.

At last it’s time to dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip to a simpler time as ‘bad boy’ Danny (Dylan Walsh) and ‘the girl next door’ Sandy (Gemma Duggan) fall in love all over again.

It’s the original high school musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including ‘You’re The One That I Want,’ ‘Grease Is The Word,’ ‘Summer Nights,’ ‘Hopelessly Devoted To You,’ ‘Sandy,’ ‘Greased Lightnin’’ and many more.

Brought to you by the amazing team who last year gave us the sell out success ‘Does Your Mother Know,’ Grease promises to be another rocking triumph for Colaiste Dun Iascaigh’s ever willing,
ever talented, ever able musical department.

The stage has been painted, the programmes printed, the costumes are ready to be worn. This incredibly popular show will take place in the Colaiste’s gymnasium this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Tickets are available from the Colaiste itself, students may buy them at lunch time outside the staff room, and others may get them from during office hours from the school office.

Tickets are also available from The Heritage in The Square and the Esso garage in Cahir.

So throw your mittens around your kittens and hand-jive the night away with the show that will make you want to stand up and shout, ‘A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop A-wop-bam-boom!’ Be there or be square!
