Fundraising for next year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off next week with a table quiz.

The quiz night starts in the Brian Boru Bar at 8.30pm on Thursday, November 14, with the indomitable Mickey O’Byrne as Quiz Master.

For years Mickey has challenged quiz-goers with his unique style. His questions challenge the recall of participants, ranging from latest current affairs and sports to the much more oblique that provide a fun evening. Entry €20 per team. The committee of Cashel’s St. Patrick’s Day hope to make 2014 a bigger and more flamboyant event. One the committee’s true and committed stalwarts –Tommy Butler, has been working on Cashel’s Parade since 1970 – over 40 years. If you are interested in participating with the organising of next year’s parade, contact Niall Gregory 0864096899, nialltgregory@gmail.com or introduce yourself to him at the quiz.
