The Sisters of Charity school in Clonmel took on the timeless classics Annie and The Wizard of Oz for their recent show, and captivated the audience with two amazing performances.
The pupils were accompanied by Laura Cotter on piano and Anthony Lawless on production, who both contributed significantly to the outstanding success of the production.
Pupils, family and friends were transported ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ with Dorothy, Toto and friends for a truly enchanting experience.
Pamela Ryan’s 5th class pupils took to the stage for an incredible production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. They delighted with their jaw-dropping performances of favourites such as ‘Jitterbug’, ‘We’re off to see the Wizard’ and ‘Ding Dong the Witch is Dead’. It was an unforgettable triumph that dazzled the senses and touched the hearts of all.
The 3rd class pupils of Marguerite Ryan and Monica Hillery astounded their audience with the classic and well-loved tale of ‘Annie’.
It was a resounding success, with the audience being treated to performances of timeless, heart- touching songs such as ‘Tomorrow’, ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’ and ‘You’re Never Fully Dressed without a Smile’.
Annie is a story that portrays how love and hope always win in the end, as Annie never gave up hope for her happy ending.
Many congratulations to all the cast from 3rd class upwards for their fantastic and unforgettable performance that touched the hearts of both young and old.
