Belle Voci (formerly Gloryday Singers) handed over a cheque for €1000, the proceeds from their Christmas Concert, to children’s charity Barnardos Clonmel.

The Ladies choir, under the baton of Musical Director Kevin O’Carroll, Waterford, and pianist Marian Ingoldsby, had a wonderful night of festive song.

They want to thank guests, St. Mary’s Boys Choir, Irishtown, who made the night very special, under conductor Mary Adamson, and pianist Fidelma Collins. Also soloist Mimi Lane, who sang so beautifully.

They would also like to thank Fr.PJ Fagan, Ferryhouse Church, for the use of the facilities for practice, and the concert on the night, which was an astounding success.

The Choir will be participating in a concert on February 23 in Cahir House Hotel, along with the Cork Garda Choir and Choral Society Cahir and soloists.

They will be holding another concert in May, venue to be announced.
