ÓMÓS PÁDRAIG, a traditional concert in honour of Ireland’s national saint, is the title of a forthcoming concert featuring talented Tipperary musicians, many of them school going.

ÓMÓS PÁDRAIG, a traditional concert in honour of Ireland’s national saint, is the title of a forthcoming concert featuring talented Tipperary musicians, many of them school going.

The concert will take place on Saturday, March 10, in Nenagh Arts Centre at 8 pm.

It is being organised by Cairde an Chaisleáin / Friends of Dromineer Castle as part of their on-going fundraising campaign that is already gaining momentum.

Participants so far include groups such as Trad 4, Paddy Rohans.com Trad Group, Geasa, Rinceoirí, Dúin Mhuine, and the Kennedy family, along with established musicians Eileen O Brien, Jennifer O’Brien and singer Nora Butler.

Any musician or traditional group wishing to participate may do so by contacting 087-6346703 for inclusion in the concert.

Tickets are priced at €10 each or €20 for a family of four ,and are available from Nenagh Arts Centre, ph:067--34400 or www.nenagharts.com Early booking advisable.
