It was great to see so many new faces in attendance and was definitely the biggest Macra event held in Templemore in a long number of years. Thanks to Question Master, Arthur Griffin and to Michael Finn for the kind use of his premises.

Representing Devilsbit Macra in Galway City last weekend (Saturday 24 November) was Con McGrath in the National Semi Finals of the Impromptu Public Speaking Competition. This was the Clubs first time competing at this level of the Competition and Con did us proud coming in third.

Last weekend also saw Devilsbit Macra hold a very successful Church Gate Collection on behalf of Brainwave - the Irish Epilepsy Association, thanks to everyone who so generously contributed to this very worthy cause.

Devilsbit Macra are organising the North Tipperary Round of the Macra indoor Soccer Competition. This Competition takes place this Thursday night in St Josephs Secondary School, Borrisoleigh at eight o’clock.

Best of luck to our Deputy Chairman Gerard Fogarty who is currently taking part in Movember and will have his Moustache shaved on Friday night. He is raising money for the Irish Cancer Society and any support would be greatly appreciated.

The next North Tipperary Executive Meeting will take place on Friday night in Quinlain’s Pub, Moyne, to be followed by a Table Quiz. All Devilsbit Members are requested to attend.
