Nenagh Silent Film Festival

NENAGH Silent Film Festival, which runs from Thursday, February 14, to Sunday, February 17, will be featured on the Colm Hayes show on 2FM this coming Friday and also featured on the Garret Daly show on RTE LyricFM last Sunday. The festival will highlight the silent movie genre and will honour one-time Nenagh resident and Hollywood mogul Rex Ingram.

The festival will highlight the silent movie genre and will honour one-time Nenagh resident and Hollywood mogul Rex Ingram.

Meanwhile, a production company that will attend the festival is currently making a documentary for RTE on Rex Ingram. They will film at the unveiling of the plaque in respect of Rex Ingram at his home place in Cudville as well as at the screening of The Magician and the talk on Rex Ingram in Nenagh Heritage Centre.

The festival will incldue screenings, workshops, talks and a masked ball on February 15 in the Abbey Court Hotel.
