Nenagh Players through to All-Ireland drama finals

The Nenagh Players, based on a series of outstanding performances on the Irish drama festival circuit have secured their coveted place at the All Ireland Open Drama Finals - the final will take place in Athlone during the week of May 1st-10th.

The Nenagh Players, based on a series of outstanding performances on the Irish drama festival circuit have secured their coveted place at the All Ireland Open Drama Finals - the final will take place in Athlone during the week of May 1st-10th.

The Nenagh Players’ extraordinary production of Bruce Graham’s ‘The Outgoing Tide’ features Donal Bray, Niamh Hogan and Kevin Walsh in the lead roles while ‘The Outgoing Tide’ is directed by Jenny Bracken.

In a small cottage on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay Gunner has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future, but meets with resistance from his wife and son, who have plans of their own. As winter approaches this trio must quickly find common ground and come to an understanding-before the tide goes out. This new drama hums with dark humour and powerful emotion.
