The Bealtaine Festival is a national arts festival which is run throughout May each year in association with Age and Opportunity.

As we enter the final week of the 2015 Bealtaine Festival there are still many events on offer.

In the Damer House Gallery (Roscrea) an exhibition of ‘Shooting from the Hip’ and ‘Roscrea Golden Years’ will take place from May 23rd-30th.

In Thurles at the Source Arts Centre an exhibition tour, short film screening and Q & A session will take place with Madge Bolger on Thursday, May 28th (10am - 12.15pm).

‘Deep End Dance’ (2010) is a short film shot above and under water featuring the 81-year-old Madge Bolger and her choreographer son David.

Why not join Denis O’Sullivan, the broadcaster & radio presenter, in Ballyporeen Community Hall on May 29th at 8pm for his illustrated talk, entitled ‘60 Years A-Blowing’ which will explore Mick Delahunty’s sixty years as a band leader.
