A special fundraising concert in aid of St John the Baptist Primary School in Cashel will be held in Bru Boru on Saturday, April 21st at 7.45 p.m., with a host of well-known local entertainers performing.
The concert, which will feature many well-known numbers from shows and musicals including Le Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, Blood Brothers and Show Boat. The concert will have Derek Ryan, Seamus O’Reilly, Deirdre Ryan and Mary Rose McNally in attendance - all of whom have performed extensively with Tipperary Musical Society - while Thurles lady Cathy Keane, fresh from playing the role of Calamity Jane in the title show with Thurles Musical Society, will also perform on the night. Boy sporano Thomas Grogan will also perform alongside the St John the Baptist School Choir. The Gordenairs Male Voice Choir from Clonmel will also preform on the night.
Tickets, costing E20, can be booked at the school or at Dwyer’s Pharmacy, Tesco. The Booking Office opens on Tuesday, April 10th.
