Brighten your Tuesday evening by coming to The Dublin Guitar Quartet concert at Cashel Library on Tuesday, 15th November. Their programmes are a very entertaining and palatable mix of music by the world’s leading composers, often inspired by indigenous music from around the globe. Tickets from the Library (tel: 062 63825) or from The Heritage Centre (tel: 062 62511).

Cashel Arts Fest invites you down to the annual Food and Craft Fair in front of the Cashel Palace on Sunday, 13th November (11am-4pm) for a great day of free family entertainment, with St Patrick’s Brass Band, Ceol na Leanaí and the Tipperary Gospel Choir providing the musical entertainment while a stilt walker, puppet shows and Sean Nós dance demonstration will dazzle you. And that’s not to mention the host of food and craft stalls. A fun day out for all the family.

If it’s a night of music that you enjoy, then this year’s musical feast in Brú Ború on Saturday 19th will tick all your boxes. Appearing at Cashel Arts Fest this year are Ireland’s leading Barbershop Quartet, 4 in a Bar (you might recognise them from the mobile phone adds last year, the carol sing off...), the all female Cork based Wilcollane choir, the famous Cashel Community School Choir (who sang for Queen Elizabeth when she visited the Rock this year) and The Ursuline Secondary School’s Chamber Choir ,winners of the all Ireland chamber choir competitions last year. A night bursting with song!

A Literary Pup Trail, an Art Trail, authors Geard Stembridge and Claire Hennessy, Black and White Fancy Dress Party in Brian Ború, Irish Short Film Night in Feehan’s (Main Street), Talks and many workshops... there is something for everyone at this year’s Cashel Arts Fest (11th -20th November).
