Dance Yourself Fit In The New Year

Getting your body fit and healthy does not have to be the chore it’s often perceived to be. Instead, as people all around the country are finding out each day, dancing is one of the best fitness workouts there is. If you’re struggling to find fitness motivation pacing on a treadmill to nowhere help could be close at hand.

Instead, as people all around the country are finding out each day, dancing is one of the best fitness workouts there is. The Source Arts Centre’s Dance Artist in Residence Cathy O’Kennedy has vast experience of working with community groups of all ages and abilities.

After a hugely successful dance project that launched last September, and culminated in a spectacular dance performance on Culture Night, Cathy is back to share, create and teach participants of all ages and abilities about dance making and choreography.

This is a unique and fun way to socialise, express yourself and keep fit through dance.
