Nominated recently in the Irish Times 25 Best Places to Holiday in Ireland the Glen of Aherlow will host its Walking Festival over the June Bank Holiday weekend from May 31st to June 3rd.
All walks are graded and led by experienced guides from the Galtee Walking Club. A and B Walks will take you on the high Galtees while C walks for the casual walker will follow the national loops on Slievenamuck or the lower Galtees, giving the opportunity to enjoy the heritage and culture of the Glen.

Organised by the Glen of Aherlow Fáilte Society and the Galtee Walking Club this is one of Irelands leading walking festivals.

In the region of six hundred walkers are expected over the three days.
