Acclaimed Irish film ‘Good Vibrations’, which recounts the career of record label owner Terri Hooley, features at the Nenagh Arts Centre on Thursday, November 21st (8pm).
Hooley is a music-lover in Belfast during the 1970s. While his city is destroyed around him Terri opens a record shop called ‘Good Vibrations’. Through it he discovers a compelling voice of resistance in the city’s underground punk scene. Galvanising the young musicians into action Hooley becomes the unlikely leader of a motley band of punks who join him in his mission to create a new community. For tickets see nenagharts.com or on the door.
