The children’s performing arts network Starcamp is to host summer camps in nine Tipperary locations next July and August.
Supported once again by banana importers Fyffes, Starcamp brings what its creator Aileen O’Grady says is “a fresh and contemporary approach” to the process of teaching performance and building confidence amongst children in the age group four to twelve years of age through song, dance, drama and games.
Dates and venues where the camps will be held are Colaiste Dun Iascaigh, Cahir (July 20th-24th), Strand Theatre, Carrick-on-Suir (August 4th-8th), Cashel Community School (July 13th-17th), CBS High School, Clonmel, (August 10th-14th), Nenagh Arts Centre (July 6th-10th), The Abbey Hall & Stage, Roscrea (July 27th-31st), McAuley Community Centre, Templemore (August 17th-21st), The Source Arts Centre, Thurles (July 20th-24th) and the Tipperary Excel Art & Cultural Centre, Tipperary Town (July 13th-17th).
