Rehearsals are well on the way for this years production of ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ which will be staged in the Abbey Hall from Sat 27th April - Sat 4th May inclusive
This promises to be a great show with both cast and audiences with songs such as ‘Gallant and correct’ , ‘Wonderful Day’, ‘I married seven brothers’ - just to mention a few. The Box Office will be opened in Roscrea Credit Union as usual from the 19th April at Credit Union Office Times right up to the show or you can always call the ticket line on 0505 23600 again during Credit Union Office Times - We say a Huge Thank You to Roscrea Credit Union for providing this facility again this year
We are at the final stages with our Book, we had hoped to launch the book during this years show but because of the vast amount of material that is after coming in to us from the public in recent weeks we feel that to enable us to use as much of this material as possible that we will. Have the launch in Early June - Everyone in Roscrea Musical Society is very excited about this book as it is the first book that the society has produced and it promises to be a fantastic memorabilia for the society covering articles, pictures and great stories from the launch of Roscrea Operatic Society right up to the present day of Roscrea Musical Society.
We are unbelievably grateful to the Book Committee, the Book Finance Committee, the general public, Sponsors, Patrons and indeed Mr. George Cunningham who have all done Trojan work in making this Book production possible .
There is still time if you would like to become a patron of this book. If interested please contact any member of Roscrea Musical Society Committee or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
