Cappawhite Outreach Art Expo Kelly McDonagh Mongan from The Voice opened an exhibition of paintings, drawings and prints created by the students of Cappawhite Youth Reach centre that was launched at the Tipperary Regional Youth Services, (TRYS), Tipperary Town last Friday. “The main themes of the artwork were: Identity, Popular Culture and The Local Environment, themes that students would be familiar with through their artistic studies and themes that would be important to their everyday life,” explained Art Teacher Melissa Corish. “From the music of Bob Marley to images of the Tipperary landscape, this Art Expo represents a body of work that aims to share with us a glimpse of the imagination and creative endeavours of youth culture.”
