Thurles Musical Society’s opening night of Sister Act the Musical was a huge success last night (Tuesday) with a packed Premier Hall enjoying a fabulous night of entertainment.

The Charity Night, run in conjunction with Thurles Rotary Club for the Thurles Care Group, was sold out and tickets for the remaining nights - the show runs until Saturday - are very scarce indeed. A standing ovation greeted the cast and chorus at the end of what was a magnificently lively, colourful and visually stunning show. See next weeks Tipperary Star for review. In the meantime, if you wish to attend, book your tickets at Hickey’s Pharmacy, Liberty Square, Thurles asap. 0504 21423.
