On Friday, May 22nd the Simon Ryan Theatre will host Tipperary native, national treasure and world-renowned musician Micháel Ó Súilleabháin in concert.

On Friday, May 22nd the Simon Ryan Theatre will host Tipperary native, national treasure and world-renowned musician Micháel Ó Súilleabháin in concert.

This represents a unique opportunity to hear Micháel O’Súilleabháin in his home county of Tipperary in the intimate setting of the Simon Ryan Theatre.

Along with a selection of his classical pieces for piano and percussion, the programme for the evening will include a special element of music associated with rich cultural tradition with which Tipperary has been long associated.

Joined by long-time collaborators Mel Mercier on traditional percussion and Kenneth Edge on soprano saxophone you can expect a night of musical fireworks alongside the lush melodies characteristic of this region.
