A new Irish-language singing circle is beginning in Cloughjordan.

Once a month, and starting on Wednesday, February 27th at 8pm in the Sheelagh na Gig Bookshop, Cloughjordan, Irish teacher Annemarie Nugent will lead the singing and there will be a lyric sheet (and translations) available for everyone to take away. All are welcome, and donations are appreciated.

The song on February 27th will be Cúnnla.

Cuir le do stór amhráin Gaeilge. Beidh Ciorcal Amhránaíochta Gaeilge ag tosnú ar an gCéadaoin, an 27 Feabhra ag a 8 i siopa leabhair Síle na gCíoch i gCloch Shiurdáin. Beidh Annemarie Nugent ag stiúradh na hamhránaíochta, agus beidh na liricí (agus an t-aistriúchán) le fáil. Tá fáilte roimh chách, agus más maith leat, is féidir tabhartais a bhronnadh. Canfar ‘Cúnnla’ ar an gcéad oíche.
