Cloughjordan will host its fifth and final Cloughtoberfest this year, with the date switching by public demand to the October Bank Holiday weekend, October 23-25.

Ireland’s only gypsy jazz festival will feature three days of days of concerts, two days of workshops, two days of fringe events and three nights of jamming, say the organisers.

Among the international highlights for the final festival are Dario Napoli from Italy; Ian Date, Australia’s formeost guitarist, and Jerry Senfluk from the Czech Republic. They will be joined by Waterford’s Gypsi Swing and Galway’s Tribal Swing.

The festival finale will be around a campfire in Cloughjordan House with Devlesa and many more.

Tickets are on sale online at www.cloghtoberfest.com with a full pass costing E60. The campfire BBQ tickets cost E15.

The organisers will announce many more additions over the next few weeks, including surprise guests, free lunchtime concerts, a full workshop programme, film shows, food, Django Djams and Trad Manouche sessions.
