Gardaí in a town in Tipperary recently made a humorous remark in a social media post trying to locate the owner of a missing ID card.

In the Facebook post written today, Gardaí in Cahir once again used humour to draw attention to their announcement.

"Hola" they began.

"The rain in Spain is falling mainly in Ireland today & we are hoping to return this ID, with the wallet to the owner. It was found in Cahir.

"At least it's not a red Portugese card, found in Dublin last night......" they quipped.
