South Tipperary Ógra Fianna Fáil was re-launched in Brosnan's Bar, Cashel, on Monday, May 12, 10 years after the amalgation of South and North Tipperary.
Senator Imelda Goldsboro welcomed members from across South Tipperary saying: "It is fantastic to see such a great attendance here tonight, Ógra is a vital part of our organisation and I will provide any assistance needed to push it from strength to strength".

Senator Goldsboro also spoke on issues important to young people such as housing, education, SUSI Grants, driving test waiting lists, and drugs, among many other topics.
The election of officers then took place with the following elected: Paudie Taylor as Chairperson, Amy Goldsboro as Vice-Chairperson, David Sinclair as Honorary Secretary, Seán Lonergan as Assistant Secretary, Desiree McCarthy and Conor Kirwan as Joint Treasurers, Eric Ryan as PRO, Ronan O'Connor as Membership Officer, Ben Taylor as Events Officer, Sive Kearney as Women's & Equality Officer, and Thomas Meagher as OCM.
Incoming Chairperson Paudie Taylor then addressed the meeting saying: "I am delighted to have been elected to this position and there's no doubt I will work to further strengthen the organisation across South Tipperary. It is fantastic to have members and people elected to the officer board coming from every Local Electoral Area across the constituency. Over the Summer we will hold a few social events so members can get to know each other better, and have a bit of fun too".

The meeting was also addressed by Cllr Roger Kennedy, Cllr Amy Goldsboro, Ógra's National Membership & Recruitment Director Ciarán MacDermott, Ógra Central Officer Board Member Cian Domican, and South Tipperary Fianna Fáil CDC Chairperson John Flynn.
