Heartbreaking news for the tourist town of Cashel

December 23 was a sad day for the Cashel Tidy Towns group volunteers as the restaurant O'Neill's on Ladyswell Street closed.

The Cashel Tidy Towns group said: "For over 10 years it has been our meeting place, and we have been served by past and present staff always with a laugh and a smile.

"We also had many meals in the restaurant and wish all the chefs the best of luck for the future, we must thank Helen and John for making us welcome every morning and a special.

"Thank you to them for the breakfast on their last morning. We wish them good health in their retirement."

It's heartbreaking news for the tourist town of Cashel also.
