Appeal made to the public not to dump clothes in Tipperary village

The Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy has appealed to the public not to leave bags of clothes if recycyling containers are full in the Marlfield area

The Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy has expressed his disappointment over the dumping of clothes in the Marlfield area.
"Very disappointed to get a report from the committee members of Marlifield Community Council on bags of clothes being dumped here , I will follow up with council in the morning and with the company who collect the clothes. I would ask people again not to leave bags of clothes if the recycling container is full as it creates a very unpleasant situation for all concerned and is a slap in the face to the residents in Marlifield who keep their area so well," said Cllr Molloy.
