The development was given the go ahead by the Tipperary County Council on Wednesday, November 13, subject to 23 conditions.
50 new homes are set to be built in the village of Ballyclerihan, near Clonmel, as planning permission has been obtained.
The application was put forward to the Tipperary County Council in June of this year by JSF Property Holding Ltd, a Carrick-on-Suir based general building contractor, which serves both public and private construction sectors throughout Ireland.
The project will see construction on 22 two-storey four-bedroom detached houses, 20 two-storey four-bedroom semi-detached residences, and eight two-storey three-bedroom semi-detached homes, across 2.9 hectares of land at Knockeevan, Ballyclerihan.
The site will be accessed from a new entrance junction at the Clonmel Road (R688).
The development will also see the construction of private, communal and landscaped amenities, an internal estate road network, and pedestrian pavements.

There is also set to be 120 provisional parking spaces, with 100 being dedicated to residents, and 20 reserved for visitors.
Public lighting and drainage, water service connections, undergrounding of existing overhead electricity supply cables, and inter-site and new perimeter boundary walls and fences are also to be included in the development of the homes.
Provisions have been made for the replacement of an existing defective storm water attenuation tank and pipework, serving the estate, along with the removal of three existing house foundation floor slabs as well as other site works.
The development was given the go ahead by the Tipperary County Council on Wednesday, November 13, subject to 23 conditions.
