€22.5 million settlement for Tipperary boy following missed diagnosis
A Tipperary boy who suffered severe brain damage after Cork University Maternity Hospital failed to diagnose meningitis after his birth has settled legal action for €22.5 million, according to RTÉ.
RTÉ is reporting that Cork University Maternity Hospital apologised to Calum English and his parents on Tuesday, after initially denying liability.
