There will be a strong focus on the Food Sector at this year’s ‘Who To Talk To’ event planned for the Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre, LIT Campus on 14th May from 2.00pm to 8.00pm.
The event first held in 2012 is an initiative of the North Tipperary County Development Board and is designed to act as a catalyst to individuals considering self employment in all sectors and to inform new and existing business promoters about supports available for business creation and development.
The organisers are delighted to confirm that this year’s event will feature 5 excellent presentations, all focussed on the food sector. Seminar topics and speakers confirmed include:-

Tom Doorley, Food Critic: ‘Attracting Media Attention for your Food Enterprise’
Caoimhe Ni Dhuibhinn, Failte Ireland: ‘Opportunities in Food Tourism’
Eddie O’Neill, Teagasc: ‘Starting an on-farm food business’
David Berry, Kantar World Panel: ‘The Retail Landscape in Ireland’
This year’s event promises to be very worthwhile for both potential and existing entrepreneurs with up to 30 information stands and a series of funding workshops/ short presentations by Agencies and organisations in a position to support the growth and development of business. Funding workshops will include the Irish Exporters Association on their Food & Drink Programmes, North Tipperary Leader Partnership, Tipperary North County Enterprise Board, InterTradeIreland on Cross Border Trade Incentives, Enterprise Ireland etc.
