Former Kilkenny star Aidan Fogarty has expressed concerns that Tipperary's lack of diversity in playing styles could become an issue for them down the line.
Fogarty, an eight-time All-Ireland SHC champion, acknowledged that Liam Cahill’s team has shown significant improvement in work ethic compared to last year’s championship campaign.

He also noted that Tipperary now has a more structured approach, with players settling into roles that are likely to remain unchanged as they head into the Munster SHC. Their opening fixture in the competition is scheduled against Limerick on April 20.
However, ahead of their clash with Kilkenny on Sunday, Fogarty pointed out a potential weakness—many of Tipperary’s players share similar attributes.
“I do feel with Tipperary there’s a lot of the same type of hurlers if that makes sense,” he said on the KCLR Hurling Podcast last week.
“They look the same, they tog out the same, they strike the ball the same, they have the same kind of movement, so that’s a small bit of a worry I would say about them going forward because championship is going to be a whole different kettle of fish.
"But they are going in the right direction and have improved.”
