The club’s activity for 2013 was presented in summarised booklet form and distributed to the meeting.

The highlights from 2013 were the winning of the Under 12 county final, the outstanding success of the academy for new and younger players and the great progress made by all teams in competition. Special thanks were recorded to our Gaisce and transition year girls who helped at training. It is hoped to have another Academy for younger and new players in the near future.

The medal presentations to the victorious U 12 team are planned for next Monday.

The following Officers were elected for 2014. President, Claire Lonergan, Vice President, Eamonn O’Dwyer. Chairperson, Andrew Dowling, Vice Chair, Olivia Shanahan, Secretary, Richie Looby, Assistant secretary, Michael White, Treasurer, Aine O’Donnell, Assistant Treasurer, Antoinette Delahunty, PRO, Paudie Everard, Player Welfare Marion Power, Registrar, Michael White, County Board reps, Andrew Dowling, Aine O’Donnell, Schools officer, Mairead Kelly We wish the new committee well for 2014.

The primary aim of the club is to give girls the opportunity to play one the greatest field games in the world. In the process they learn to master the skills, enjoy the social interaction and hopefully build a store of great memories along the way.

Ladies Football. We have a number of club members who are giving of their time and efforts to various County Management teams. The Tipperary under 14 team is managed by Edmond Burke and Francis Ryan is a selector. Paddy McMeel is a selector with The Tipperary under 16 team. We wish them and their teams all the best for 2014.

The Under 16s played a useful challenge on Sunday against the County under 14 team. Inclement weather forced the early ending of a very competitive game.

The senior and juniors began their preparations for the year ahead with core training Friday night at 7.30. This continues for the next few weeks at 7.30 pm every Friday night.

Best of luck to Clonmel Loreto who play the Schools Munster Junior Final this Friday. Hopefully we will good things to report next week.
