Tipperary minors will hope to set up first leg of double

The curtain raiser to the All Ireland senior hurlng semi-final in Croke Park is the minor semi-final between Tipperary and Galway.

Tipp go into the clash on the back of an impressive run in the championship, beating Kerry and Waterford before then disposing of Clare in impressive fashion in the Munster final.

With just three Tipp teams left in the championship following the recent defeats of the senior and minor footballers and u-21 hurlers, the u-18s will hope to make it a winning start in Croke Park on a huge day for Tipperary hurling.
