Training has resumed for all teams. Core train for the Senior team every Monday night in Monroe. The under 16s are preparing for their championship which is due to start early March with an away game against Clonmel Commercials. After this we have home games against Mullinahone and Aherlow. The under 14s are busy training under the supervision of Edmund Burke and Francis Ryan. The 14s had a very enjoyable day out last Saturday week in Cork, playing in a challenge game against St Vals and then stopping for some shopping in Mahon Point on the way home.

We wish the very best of luck to the Loreto Secondary School as they play in the Munster Junior final this Friday evening under lights in Cloughduv against St.Mary’s of Macroom. Particularly we wish all our Moyle Rovers girls, who make up a large part of the team, all the best.

Good luck also to team captain Hazel Shanahan. A number of our club players are currently involved with underage county teams and we congratulate Claire Moore, Kristy Crotty Ryan, Orla Burke and Emma Cronin who are members of the Tipperary under 14 team.

Aoife Power, Megan Shanahan and Racheal Delahunty played with Tipperary under 16s in a challenge game against Kildare last Saturday. Hazel Shanahan, Gemma O’Dwyer, Leanne Ryan and Sarah Everard are members of the Tipperary Minor panel.

Training continues for under 8s ,10sand 12s every Friday evening at 5.30pm. New members welcome ,so why not come along and give it a try.
