So, it all comes down to this.

Tipperary and Kilkenny will go to war again on Saturday evening next for the first time ever in an All-Ireland qualifer when they meet in Nowlan Park - a game which is being billed as not for the faint hearted.

The curious championship took another twist when Dublin beat Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final replay last weekend, thereby setting up a ‘ neighbourly’ clash between Tipp and Kilkenny yet again - the fifth time in as many seasons clashing in the championship, and the third time for them to meet this season alone.
