All-Ireland Qualifier -- Brave Tipp Go Down Fighting
tippstar
Tipperary’s senior footballers went down fighting in the All-Ireland championship at Salthill on Saturday evening with a fifteen minute spell after half time, proving their undoing.
Underdogs going into the game, Peter Creedon’s men produced a very gutsy first half to be within a point of the home side having played into a very strong breeze, and then saw out the last fifteen minutes well on top. Trouble was, Galway banged in 1-6 in 20 minutes after the restart to seal their win, eventhough they were left hanging on for dear life at the very death.
